This CD contains all the software you need to play the games at GamesZone.net. All the games have a description to help you decide which games you want to install and play. With some games a video clip is available for you to view. To view this programme correctly on your PC you must have 800 x 600 screen resolution.
There are two different ways to find a game: via a games channel, and via game genres. A games channel is a collection of games from a specific games provider - for example, the Engage games channel consists of Descent, Splatterball and several other games. A game genre is one of several categories, such as Action/Adventure or Roleplay/Strategy, under which the games have been grouped. The same game may fall into more than one category and will therefore appear in more than one genre.
HERE ARE THE REQUIRED STEPS YOU MUST TAKE TO PLAY ON GAMESZONE:
1. Before you install any games, please install all channel client software; ie: MPGNet;
Engage and Oceanline, from the relevant sections on the CD.
2. If you are using Internet Explorer V 4.0, you will need to install Netscape Navigator
V 3.0, or Netscape Communicator (which you will find in the 'EXTRAS' section on
this CD). You will need this in order to play Engage games.
In addition to the games software, this CD contains a number of extra components that we recommend you install. These are available from the 'EXTRAS' section.
To start navigating the contents of the CD, select one of the options on the right. You can always return to the front page from any area by clicking on the SpaceShip logo in the button bar.
